Our financial products enable companies to manage risks and expand their access to foreign and domestic capital markets. The product lines of investment services include loans, equity investments, trade and commodity financing, derivatives and structured finance and mixed financing. We also play a catalytic role in mobilising additional financing through parallel loans, loan participations, partial credit guarantees, securitisations, loan sales, risk-sharing instruments and fund investments. By attracting new investors, we present our clients with new sources of capital and better ways of doing business. In fiscal year 2023, IFC committed a record $43.7 billion to private companies and financial institutions in developing countries, leveraging the power of the private sector to improve people’s lives as economies face the impacts of global crises.
